When it comes to my relationship with food in the space of 4 years I have done a complete 360 going from the girl whose signature dish was chicken nuggets, smiley faces and beans to experiencing fine dining at some of the best Michelin star restaurants across the UK. So I thought I’d share with you from one foodie to another the restaurants I have been fortunate to experience and the food that I ate.
Adams is a first class dining experience nestled in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre. Husband and wife duo Adam and Natasha Stokes started the business in 2013 and serves a 3-course menu alongside the signature tasting menu and a weekly lunch menu. Chef and Owner Adam Stokes have an accolade of awards including a Michelin Star, three AA Rosettes and a scored 7 in the Good Food Guide not to mention sitting among the top 10 restaurants on Trip Advisor.

The Walnut Tree
A traditional 1960’s restaurant with an eclectic mix of food based on Chef Shaun Hill’s personal tastes married with sound cooking techniques. With a unique style and a string of timeless dishes still just as distinctive as the moment, he created them taking The Walnut Tree onto its next success.

Restaurant James Sommerin
RJS – a unique and relaxed dining experience on the Penarth seafront created by James and Louise Sommerin. From A La Carte to Tasting Menus to The Chef’s Table this restaurant certainly packs a punch and offers a culinary spectacle of flavour. Not to mention accolades from Waitrose Good Food Guide, Welsh Resturant of the Year 2016, three AA Rosettes and a Michelin Star this quaint restaurant is everything and more.
