For months and months, I had been dying to get my hands on the Morphe 350 palette, after watching endless YouTube reviews and tutorials I finally got one and I just couldn’t wait for my next girls night out to start playing with all the colours.
When it comes to eyeshadow I am a complete beginner and spend endless hours watching Jaclyn Hill, Holly Boon and Carli Bybel praying that one day I’ll have their amazing talents. So neutrals are definitely my comfort zone making the 350 palettes a perfect new addition to my eyeshadow collection.
To be completely honest with you I wasn’t all that impressed at first, the pigmentation for the matte tones is not as good in comparison to the shimmers which is a little disappointing meaning I have to build more on the desired look I’m going for. However, after a couple of practices and playing around with the different colour combos I soon was swayed in my opinions. The shimmers are so pigmented and a small amount of product goes a long way which for me is total value for money. I must admit I am starting to experiment more with different colours to move more outside of my comfort zone and be more adventurous and this palette was the perfect way to start this transition for me as I’m slowly learning the techniques are pretty much the same its only the colour which is different and that is what I wasn’t seeing before.
That being said the 350 palette has become my go-to for any occasion and I sometimes feel guilty for judging it in the first place, there are so many palettes available which in so many ways are considered better or worse but for me personally as a novice on this kinda stuff it just works.
